Pre-cut shapes a Bird or a Heart to choose from (Valentines).

Add colour using glass stringers, beads or frit.

Make a field of love within the heart - or fill with colour of your choice.

Create your favourite bird - I made a robin!

As well as beautiful colours to chose from your work will also get texture as we fire these slightly differently to a full fuse. Confusing you? don't worry all will be explained in the session.

You will be shown examples of what can be achieved and you will be able to choose your own colours from the selection we have available. You will create your own hook to include in your hanging so that you may use a ribbon or chain (personal preference) to hang your work once you have collected it from us.

You can create your own work to hang in your window at home or it would make a lovely, personal gift for someone special - these can also be framed and make a lovely picture in glass.

The health and safety risks are minimum for this session with a low risk of cuts. We will show everyone the correct way to handle the glass. A risk assessment is available.

We have a selection of colours to choose from if you have a specific colour you would like, please enquire weeks in advance and Naomi will try and source that for you.

All materials, equipment and tools are provided on the day. You may purchase more glass in the session should you wish to do more. The ribbon and/or chain is not provided but can be purchased at your local haberdashery or craft store.

Contemporary glass artist Naomi Jacques will teach you during this session. Your work will be fired after the session, and be available to collect within 2 weeks of making. Glass fusing can be unpredictable with that we cannot guarantee all your work will turn out as you planned it too.

We often find when firings don’t go to plan you learn and can develop that learning in your next project. Also, these happy accidents can be truly beautiful.
